RELEASE  AGREEMENT and WAIVER

 “Support Austin Music” Broadcast and/or Streaming Series

Whereas,  Sheila Steele (the “Producer”) is engaged in a project (the “Broadcast”),   and whereas

I, the undersigned (“the Releasor”)  have agreed to submit a previously recorded video and/or appear in the Broadcast; and whereas, I understand that my voice, name, and image will be recorded by various mechanical and electrical means of all descriptions (such recordings, any piece thereof, the contents therein and all reproductions thereof, along with the utilization of my name, shall be collectively referred to herein as the  (“Released Subject Matter”).

I hereby freely and without restraint consent to and give unto the Producer and her agents or assigns or anyone authorized by the Producer,  the right to broadcast the Released Subject Matter. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, I hereby authorize Sheila Steele and grant unto her the rights to utilize the Released Subject Matter in connection with the   broadcast and/or streaming of the video.

I hereby waive to the fullest extent that I may lawfully do so, any causes of action in law or equity I may have or may hereafter acquire against Sheila Steele for libel, slander, invasion of privacy, copyright or trademark violation, right of publicity, or false light arising out of or in connection with the utilization by Sheila Steele of the Released Subject Matter.

I know and agree that I am not being compensated in any way by the Producer or the Broadcaster  in connection with any and all usages of the Released Subject Matter.  I expressly stipulate that Sheila Steele may utilize the Released Subject Matter or not, as she chooses in her sole discretion, without affecting the validity of this Release.  This Release shall be governed by Texas Law.

The Producer warrants that she is not receiving any compensation of any kind from any person or entity and that the broadcast and streaming of the Subject Matter is purely for the purpose of enhancing Austin Live Music and/or musicians and/or the content of the Subject Matter.

By signing this release, I certify that I have collected all applicable Copyright and Image/Talent/Location Releases associated with the Subject Matter.  My signature below affords Sheila Steele my agreement to stream or broadcast my program, video, audio, image and/or other Subject Matter on the Internet in the same sequence as aired on Channels 10, 11, and/or 16, as well as for limited storage of digital files of the program on channel Austin Servers to be made available for video on demand.

I hereby certify that I am over the age of eighteen, and that I have read, understood, and agreed to the foregoing.
